Dear Colleague,
This is to inform you that our next Ranawat Orthopaedic
Conference (ROC) 2015 will be held from Friday,16th to
Sunday, 18th January 2015. We have had a shift of venue
from Hotel Leela to Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. This
year, we are planning a very special programme for
beginners in Joint Replacement Surgery as well as for
experienced Arthroplasty surgeons.
16th,17th & 18th January 2015
On Friday, 16th January, all aspects of Knee Replacement Surgery will be
covered on Saturday, 17th January, topics related to Hip Replacement Surgery
will be dealt. Topics related to Knee Arthroscopy will be covered on Sunday,
18th January.
I am sure this meeting will be a mix of excellent academics and enjoyable
social evenings. We will do our best to ensure that you get the value of your
time.
As a special offer, we are having an Early Bird Registration up to 15th
November 2014. So please block your dates and send in your registrations at
the earliest.

Ranawat Orthopaedic Research Foundation invites two full papers
related to Hip or Knee Arthroplasty for selection for the
"LATE K.T. DHOLAKIA Best Paper Award". One paper will be for author
less than Forty years of age, and one for author more than Forty years
of age.
Instructions for complete paper submission
1. ELIGIBILITY
Age criteria as mentioned above ( Please indicate your date of
birth). It is compulsory for you to register for the conference to be
eligible for selection.
2.
DECISION
The committee will scrutinize all the papers submitted and shall
select only two papers for the award ( one for below 40 age group
and one for above 40 age group) The decision of the committee
regarding selection of the paper for the award will be final and
binding.
3. AWARD
Only the author whose paper gets selected for the award will be
given 8 minutes for the presentation of his paper during the
conference at Mumbai on 17th January 2015. The award winner
shall also get a special prize and certificate of merit.
4.
FORMAT
The full paper must be sent as hard copies in MS word (4 copies to
be submitted by post) & one soft copy (to be submitted by e-mail).
CONTENTS OF FULL PAPER
i)
Title
Title should indicate the nature of the study which should
pertain to Hip or Knee Arthropalsty. Should include author's
name with degree and designation.
ii)
Introduction
Should state the nature, aims and purpose of the study.
iii)
Materials and Methods
Should provide all the basic data and description of what was
actually done and details of the research, clinical or
experimental procedure.
iv)
Results
Should contain the findings of the study with appropriate
chart and tables.
v)
Discussion and conclusion
Should be based on the findings and relate to the purpose of
the study. Comparative analysis of your work with other
studies in literature should be made.
vi)
References
Should be included wherever relevant.
6. LAST DATE
Last date for receiving complete papers is 5th January 2015.
