Sealed tenders are invited for the procurement of (A) Fluorescence microscope (B) Spectrofluorimeter
with plate reader (C) Temperature Controlled Orbital Shaker (D) Water Purification System
(E) Laminar air-flow hoods (Two) (F) Digital Autoclave a) The Tender Form can be downloaded from
the Calcutta University website (www.caluniv.ac.in) or obtained from the Dr. B. C. Guha Centre for Genetic
Engineering and Biotechnology (4th Floor), University of Calcutta 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata700019 on all working days between 2 PM to 4 PM till 06.01.2015 for a tender fee of Rs. 5000/- per
equipment in the form of Demand Draft in favour of ‘KOLKATA BIOTECH PARK PROJECT
MISCELLANEOUS FEES’ payable in Kolkata, India b) The specification of the items with terms &
conditions and tender documents are available in detail in the Calcutta University website
(www.caluniv.ac.in) c) Sealed cover duly super-scribed ‘TENDER FOR EQUIPMENTS FOR
CENTRAL INSTRUMENT FACILITY OF KOLKATA BIOTECH PARK’ may be submitted in the
office of the Coordinator, Dr. B. C. Guha Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of
Calcutta, 4th Floor, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-700019, India d) The last date for submission
of the tender is 06.01.2015 till 5:00 PM e) Tenders will be opened in the Syndicate Room, Senate
House, University of Calcutta, 87/1 College Street, Kolkata- 700073 on 07.01.2015 at 1:00 PM f) Tender
applications with incomplete details or submitted without proper separation, sealing or super scribing
of the technical and price (financial) bids and/or not submitted along with a duly-filled and signed
tender form for each quoted instrument and/or the prescribed tender fee (Rs. 5000 for every quoted
equipment enclosed as a bank draft in the sealed envelope containing the technical bid) is liable to be
rejected. g) In case, the above date is found unsuitable for unavoidable circumstances for opening of the
tenders, then the process will stand postponed to the next working day at the same time. h) The University
of Calcutta reserves the right to reject any tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
