UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA Candidates are invited for a walk in interview on 17th February 2015 at 3.00 PM in the room of the Head of the Department of Geology, for the position of a Junior Research Fellow for a DST sponsored project entitled “Petrological, mineralogical and geochemical studies of Precambrian alkaline suite of rocks from North Purulia Shear Zone, Eastern Indian shield: Implication for tectonomagmatic evolution and REE metallogeny” under Dr. Bapi Goswami at Department of Geology, Ballygunge Science College, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-19. Essential Qualification: MSc in Applied Geology/ Geology (First Class or A+) with UGC-CSIR NET/ GATE qualification. Fellowship: Fellowship along with HRA as per DST rules will be admissible in the scale of JRF for 1st two years and in the scale of SRF for last one year for selected candidate.
