These courses, offered only in the Fall, are reserved for new freshmen, limited to 15 students each, and include activities designed to orient students to the HPU community and to college life. A Global Learning course (GL) is a special section of a general education course designed to engage students in reflecting on global citizenship while incorporating international perspectives on the course subject matter as well as co-curricular experiences. A Hybrid Course (HY) is a course that combines traditional classroom meetings with on-line course work. Both the classroom meeting time and the OL designation appear in this schedule, and both will appear on the student’s individual schedule.
