“Why are there so many proLife groups in Kansas ...Shouldn’t there be just one?”
There are three main reasons why, listed here in empirical order: (1) Tasks of the proLife movement are numerous
and varied. Different groups specialize in their own area of expertise, and are not fit to do the work done by other
groups. (2) Legal reasons involving: insurance, corporate structure, potential lawsuits, federal & state non-profit
rules, etc., prevent some groups from being involved in work that they would otherwise like to participate in.
Finally, (3) although all proLife groups agree on the ultimate goal of protecting the unborn child, different groups
do not always agree on the best strategy and top priorities to achieve that ultimate goal.
