Vandalism of Gurdwara Sahib building under construction
SAWA was hurt to learn about the vandalism and some racist graffiti by a few misguided youth. This was truly an
un-Australian act, and does not reflect Australian values. SAWA strongly condemns this act. Sikh religion is known
for their high & strong moral values: God loving, honest & hard working look for the welfare of all, sharing and
strong believer of equality.
We stand-by with the management committee of Bayswater Gurdwara Sahib are making joint efforts to raise the
awareness of our Sikh community amongst the Australian communities to avoid such unfortunate happenings in
future.
