NOTIFICATION
As per the approval of 98th Academic council (Emergent) meeting held on 21't october 2014,
UG ACADEMIC REGULATION No. 13.04.4.7 (a) and No. 13.04.4.7 (b) is hereby amended as under:
Existing UG academic regulation
13.04. A.7 (a) A student who is on academic probation in second
year class shall not be permitted to register the courses of third
year class unless he/she clears all courses of first year class.
L3.04. A.7 (b) A student, who is on academic probation in third
year class, shall not be permitted to register the courses of fourth
year class unless he/she clears all courses of second year class.

as long as he/she is having six or

courses
irrespective of class (es).
There will be no revaluation of answer books of clearance examination conducted for UG
programmes of lV year courses. However, grace marks will be awarded to alt eligible candidates who
submit their application as per procedure. But the student has to complete the degree programme
as per the Academic regulation No. 7.01 (Minimum 8 semester and maximum 14 semesters).
The UG examinations will be conducted in two shifts (9 am -12 noon and 2 pm - 5 pm).
The attendance requirement i.e. minimum 75% will be calculated from the date of notification of
above regulation for the I semeste r, 2ol4-ls. However the number of days already lapsed during
this particular semester (l semester 2014-15) will not be counted for attendance.
As per the UG Regulation No. 13.04.4.7, total number of failed courses (1st year + 2nd year + 3rd
Year) should not exceed six.

The above amended regulation and guidelines will be effective from I Semester of Academic
session 2014-15 irrespective of the year of the admission of a student. However, rest of the uG
Academic Regulations shall remain
