4A & 3A Region Meet Hosted by Florence District One South Florence, West Florence and Wilson Swim Meet October 4th, 2014 Francis Marion University Florence, South Carolina Registration: Payment: Rules: Order of Events: The meet registration fee is $10.00 per swimmer or $100 per school. Swimmers may register for up to 2 individual events and 2 relay events, or 1 individual event and 3 relay events. Event entries and meet fees are due by midnight on Sunday, September 28th. Timing Provided By: Sports Timing & Software, Inc. Mt Pleasant, SC. Facility: The meet will be held at Francis Marion University Smith Center. This is a 25 yd, 8 lane pool with six lanes for competition. There is no separate warm-‐up cool down pool, so breaks will be used to allow swimmers to warm-‐up and warm down if coaches agree. Warm-‐ups: Entries: Team Scoring: Awards: Team Seating: Spectators: Concessions: Entries: Warm-‐ups will begin at 8:00 am on October 4th. Warm-‐up lane assignments will be sent out to coaches as well as be available on arrival. 4 entries per event with unlimited in the 50 free and 100 free Unlimited entries in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay Only 1 entry per team in the 400 Free Relay The top six in each event will score (7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) 3 individuals per event per team can score per event 1 relay per team can score (14, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2) Team Trophies will be awarded for 1st & 2nd place. All teams will be asked to set-‐up in an outdoor section adjacent to the pool. Please feel free to bring tents and chairs. The area is grassy. There will be a $5.00 admission fee (includes heat sheet). Spectators will be directed to the balcony area, upstairs area (behind a glass wall), or along the opposite side of the pool outside the glass area from the swimmers. Bring your appetite! There will be a variety of things to eat for breakfast and lunch, all reasonably priced. A region t-‐shirt will be designed and will cost $15 per t-‐shirt. There will be a limited number of these shirts available at the meet and we are encouraging the teams to preorder your shirts. Easy Meet, Meet Manager software will be used for this meet.
