Do you need help organising, researching and completing your assignment? Lyn from the
library will be running a “Help with Assignments” every Thursday afternoon from 1:30pm in

IS CANCER MESSING WITH YOUR LIFE? CANTEEN CAN HELP
AIE OPEN DAY- SUNDAY 17TH AUGUST
Discover the courses designed to get you started in game development, 3D animation and
visual effects at the AIE Open Day on Sunday 17th August. Canberra campus will be opening
their door to visitors eager to find out about full-time and part-time courses staring in February
2015. The day will include hands-on workshops, presentations on different areas of industry as
well as information about AIE full-time and part-time courses and entry requirements. Student
work will be on display and our teachers will be available to speak with you one on one about
our courses and how AIE can get you into a creative career.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
An Electronic and Communications company based in Fyshwick is looking for an Apprentice to
Undertake a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications.
This position is full time and would involve attending CIT one day a week. This is a 4 Year
apprenticeship.
HIA Apprenticeship Centre is looking for an ASBA trainee to undertake a Certificate III in
Business, working out of the Campbell office 2 days per week 16hrs a week.

2014 CAREERS MARKET

Departure Time from Erindale College: ACTION bus departs 11:00am
Where: Exhibition Park Mitchell
Cost: $2.50
Only students travelling on the ACTION buses to and from college will be accepted on the
excursion. Any students travelling by private car will not be considered as part of the
excursion.

ISAAC DEAN
Isaac Dean, current Year 11 student is on his way
home from Rome after winning 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2
Bronze medals at the World Championships for Stick
Fighting.
