Their career advice section also provides useful support for CV and interview preparation. • Black Lawyers Directory The BLD is an online directory of black ethnic minority lawyers and will be a useful resource for students seeking general careers advice, case studies, information about job opportunities and links to other law related sites. • Chambers Student Guide The ‘must have’ guide for law students containing essential information about training contracts, pupillages and law schools. • Crown Prosecution Service The CPS is the largest law firm in the country and the careers section of their web site contains information about a range of opportunities within the organisation. • GR Law A specialist legal recruitment firm offering opportunities in both London and Australia for paralegal work, legal support staff and qualified lawyers. The site offers advice about interview preparation and salaries and CVs can be registered online. • Junior Lawyers Division Launched in January 2008 for junior lawyers across England and Wales, the JLD is a division of the Law Society with an independent voice. This free membership group is aimed at student members of the Law Society enrolled through the SRA, trainees, and solicitors with up to five years' active PQE. • The Law Society's Gazette The website provides access to the latest jobs for solicitors, whether in private practice, in house, legal HR, legal IT, legal secretaries and many more. The careers advice section covers applications and interviews in some detail. • The Lawyer Online newsletter with all the latest news stories, both domestic and global, and analysis of the legal sector. • Law Careers In association with the Law Society, this website provides a range of resources such as blogs, podcasts and employer guides. • Legal week Legal Week Jobs is a specialist site for all types of jobs in law including Paralegal, Legal Executive, Trainee Solicitors and general Graduate vacancies. • The Lex100 The student guide to law: Find out what The Lex 100 is and how to make the best of our firm rating and comparison tools, peer-to-peer reviews, career guides and commercial awareness updates. • Pannone Now part of Slater & Gordon, Pannone prides itself on the high quality of training offered via training contracts to both Law and non Law graduates.
