Carl J . Mosher
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at
the Eugene J. Heil Funeral
Home, Evans Center, for Carl J.
Mosher of Old Lake Shore Rd.,
Angola, who died on April 19,
1959, in Hanover General Hos^
pital after an illness of about
two years. Burial was in Forest
Avenue Cemetery, Angola. Mr.
Mosher was 69 and had operated
a boat livery at the lake for
seven years Prior to that he
was employed by the General
Motors Corporation in Pittsburgh,
Pa. Husband of Alvira Mosher
(nee Shaw), he was the brother
of Mrs. Ona Hazen of Buffalo,
Mrs. Ethel Be rns of Hamburg and
Herbert Mosher of Springville.
Lawrence Tonder
Services were held last Fri
day morning at Froehey's Funeral Home, Angola, and at St.
Vincent's R. C. Church, North
Evans, for Mr. Lawrence Tonder
of Versailles Plank Rd., Angola,
who died April 13, 1959, at the
age of 78. Burial was in St.
Vincent's Cemetery. A retired
Army man, he was a member of
Acjam Plewacki Post No. 779 of
Buffalo and Evans Township
.Post No.5798, VFW, of Angola.
Mr. Tonder was the husband of
Rose H. Tonder (nee Nowak);
and father of Raymond J., Richard
L., Mrs. William (Gertrude)Brudo,
Mrs. Philip(Joann)Reitz, Robert
E. and Mrs. John (Elaine) Siegfried.

demonstrated the medicine chest
and care of cleaning equipment,
received blue awards in boththe
county and district. Patricia

Feldman put on a skit,"The
Do's and Don'ts of Horsemanship," for which they received
red awards in both the demonstration and in the-talent show.
In the talent show, Byron
Gould earned a blue award for
his vocal splo,"Bless This
House."

Pine Ridge Riding Club is
getting into, the saddle for spring!
The first big event scheduled
for the season is an overnight
trail ride through the Boston
Hills. The Boston Valley Conservation Club will be the stopover for the night, with evening
entertainment planned. The members invite any who are interested to join with them in this ride.

On Saturday, April 18 the Pine
Ridge Yearlings Drill Team and
the Horseshoe Helions 4-H Club
held their regular meeting. The
subject was a written test on the
parts of the horse, the results of
which were declared very gratifying. These 20 young people
are working toward their AHSA
