Simoco Xd TRACX AVL Simoco Xd TRACX AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) enables vehicles, people and assets to be tracked using GPS. Simoco Xd TRACX AVL application enables customers to track their GPS equipped vehicles, people and assets in real-time. All Simoco Xd terminals can be equipped with GPS functionality which enables location reports to be sent over the DMR infrastructure. To ensure efficient use of bandwidth, GPS reports can be sent at regular time intervals or when a device has moved by a configurable distance from its last reported location. The Simoco Xd TRACX AVL solution uses a mapping server which is connected at IP level into the infrastructure using the standard DMR AIS interface and then clients can access AVL functions through any standard browser.
