WHAT IS PROGRESSIVE KRAV MAGA?
Developed for the Jewish
resistance to fight the Nazis and
continually tested under some of
the most adverse and violent
conditions on Earth.
The IDF (Israeli Defence Force)
have refined and perfected their
method into one of the simplest
and most versatile modern
fighting systems in the world today.
Progressive Krav Maga takes the techniques and drills of Combat
and Tactical Krav Maga and applies them specifically to the Australian self defence environment.
The PKM syllabus has been created
for BJMA students and instructors to
further expand their combat skills
and to advance into a new commercial market.
Progressive Krav Maga is being
unrolled through a series of
seminars over a limited time that
will allow instructors in BJC Muay
Thai and Zen Do Kai to qualify to basic Instructor (Probationary first
degree black belt) in Progressive Krav Maga.
Students of BJC systems will be
allowed to attend and receive a
comparative coloured belt to their
respective level. This will not continue
beyond the establishment of this new
BJC system and future ranks will be
attained as per normal method with
senior ranks to grade along side Zen
Do Kai and Muay Thai at state grading.
Progressive Krav Maga is a fast paced
explosive system of drills and
techniques designed to rapidly
increase the student’s ability to defend
themself in any situation. Embracing strong Thai fundamentals and
proven street level tactics it is an exciting system to practice and to
teach.
Progressive Krav Maga has been designed for the BJC by members
with extensive hands on experience across all Security and Law
Enforcement occupations in Australia. This syllabus was written
exclusively by and for our membership and is proudly presented to
you.
