Course Handbook (Bar Transfer Test)

Bar Transfer Test (BTT)
The Bar Transfer test (BTT) is the best way for solicitors and qualified lawyers
from other jurisdictions to qualify to practice at the Bar of England and Wales.
This course will enable practising lawyers to gain both practical experience and
academic development within the shortest time. The content of the course is
designed to develop advocacy, writing, and interpersonal skills. Once the
qualified lawyers have passed this test, they will get the right of audience to the
Bar of England and Wales. Moreover, BSB preserves its discretion to exempt
parts of the Bar Transfer Test considering the candidates’ academic
background and area of practice.
