Article VI, Brevard County Code, as follows: 1.) Section 62-2118(d)(2) to permit a variance of 7.5 ft. from the
required 7.5 ft. side (northerly) setback from the property line as projected in a straight line into a waterway;
and 2.) Section 62-2118(d)(2) to permit a variance of 3 ft. from the required 7.5 ft. side (southerly) setback from
the property line as projected in a straight line into a waterway, in a RU-1-11 zoning classification, on 0.22

building line of the principal structure in an AU zoning classification, on 9.09 acres, located on the north side of
S.R. 46, approx. 1.39 mile west of Fawn Lake Blvd. (6000 S.R. 46, Mims)

3. (14PZ-00097) – B.A.M. OF AMERICA, INC. – (Uday Patel) – requests a variance of Chapter 62, Article VI,
Brevard County Code, Section 62-3316(b)(4) to permit a variance of 11 ft. from the required 15 ft. setback from
all property lines for a freestanding sign, in a BU-1 zoning classification, on 0.48 acre, located on the northwest
corner of Hwy A1A and Berkeley St. (500 Hwy A1A, Satellite Beach)

4. (14PZ-00099) – MAX A. CLAPP (JR.) AND JOAN R. BRISTOW – requests a variance of Chapter 62,
Article VI, Brevard County Code, Section 62-2118(d)(3) to permit a variance to allow a dock to project 5%
beyond the 20% maximum projection into the waterway (2 ft. over the 8 ft. maximum dock length), in an EU
zoning classification, on 0.23 acre, located on the northeast corner of Carrigan Blvd., and Alhambra Dr. (1050
Carrigan Blvd., Merritt Island)

a freestanding sign; and 2.) Section 62-3316(b)(5) to permit a variance of 5 ft. over the 20 ft. maximum height
for a freestanding sign, in a BU-1 zoning classification, on 0.68 acre, located on the north side of Eau Gallie
Blvd., approx. 0.39 mile west of S. Patrick Dr. (520 E. Eau Gallie Blvd., Satellite Beach)
BOA ACTION: Snyder/Young – Approved as depicted on the survey provided by the applicant. Vote
