I.
Introduction of the BLB SPORT
1. The story about us
●Establishment
BLB SPORT (Boy Loves Boy SPORT), an Internet sports
community specifically for gay friends, initiated in 2011 by a
group of sports fans and professional elites from all walks of
life. BLB SPORT upholds the philosophy of life "Joy,
Freedom, Happiness", and the characteristics of sports
"Speed, Competition, Togetherness" to construct a
healthy life for all our sports fans.
With the ambition of being professional and pursuing
continuous growth. In 2012, the BLB SPORT was officially
established and successfully held the first BLB OPEN Taipei
Taiwan badminton international tournament on October 20th.
In future, we expect to get involved in more sports to enrich
your life.

The BLB SPORT takes elite strategy, we recruit experienced
marketing and product development staff, senior IT technical
staff, management and financial personnel, event planning
experts. We are confidently efficient and flexible to adjust
the operation to provide you the most professional service
from our Internet sports community.

II.
Objectives of the Tournament
1. 2014 BLB OPEN main subject: Happiness (Yellow) - Here,
the free land without any strange look, be your own master.
2. To promote the sport of badminton by inviting badminton
enthusiasts from all across the region to interact and enjoy
the sport.
3. To enhance the sport and technique of badminton through
the members of the badminton association.
4. To encourage a healthier lifestyle.
5. To welcome friendly gay friends join the game and further
facilitate and develop diversified blueprint.

III.
Tournament Information
1. Event: Doubles
●All players are permitted to play ONE GROUP and ONE
TEAM , violators will be disqualified.
● Depends on the enrollment or schedule, the committee
demands the right to adjust the number of teams in below
each group.

IV. Participating Players
Invite Taiwan gay friends and badminton teams, also invite
other countries and regions around the world: Japan, China,
Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines,
Canada and the rest of the world's regions.
V. Registration Fee and Payment
●To remind you, all the following costs are NOT included
cross-border transfer fee.
1. Registration Fee and Happiness party Fee.
●Price for per person.

2.1：Completed 2014 BLB OPEN Application Form
( Please refer to Attachment 1)
2.2：Sending an email (with application form attached) to the
organizer :[email protected]
2.3：After receiving confirmation letters from
[email protected]. Please complete the
remittance payment according to the bank account
provided.
2.4：Once complete remittance payment, please email and
reply [email protected] with the last 5 digits of
your account for organizer to double check.
2.5：After 2014 BLB OPEN Committee confirms the correct
remittance payments, will inform players with the
successful registration for the events.
●Important Reminder: cross-border transfer fee is expensive,
it is recommended that players team registration
remittances to save the multinational commission
expenses.

VI. Rules and Regulations
1. Event: Doubles
● All players are permitted to play ONE GROUP and
ONE TEAM , violators will be disqualified.
2.Players are classified into Groups A, B, C, D and E. Based
on the following qualification.

●Suitable for 1- year beginner players.
[Attention] According to Rules VI 4.2 : Champion and Runner-up
players (each player)in past BLB OPEN Group B,C & D
MUST attend the higher level of this year. Of course,
The Champion and Runner-up players of group A MUST
stay in level A too this year. Any disobey and proved by
the BLB OPEN committee, the team will not be eligible
to continue the game, all matches will not be recorded,
and no refund.
3. Competition System
●Preliminary：Round-robin system.
●Round 32/16：Elimination system.
●Quarterfinal and semifinal：Elimination system.

4. Regulations
The tournament is a doubles-team tournament with each
game scores to 25 points and without an additional-point
system. Players firstly score 13 points exchange ends. For
the rest of the rules, please refer to the newest version
established by the International Badminton Federation.

●The Committee as the schedule or the condition of the
venue, demands the right to adjust all regulations.
4.1：All preliminary results will be calculated in every
Group.
(4.1.1) In case of players who win the same amount of
matches among the same round-robin group, then the
team with higher margin of points (combined total
scores minus total amount of lost points) is eligible to
next round.
(4.1.2) If above conditions are the still the same, then the
team with higher combined total scores is eligible to
next round.
(4.1.3) If above conditions are the still the same, then the
team with less losing scores is eligible to next round.
(4.1.4) The last, If above conditions are still the same, the
committee will ask each team to draw lots to determine
the eligibility for next round. The Committee demands
the right to draw lots for absent teams and no appeal
will be accepted.
4.2 ： [Attention] Champion and Runner-up players (each
player)in past BLB OPEN Group B,C,D and E MUST
attend the higher level of this year. ( ex, The champion
or runner-up players of group B of last year, must attend
the group A of this year). Any disobey and proved by the
BLB OPEN committee, the team will not be eligible to
continue the game, all matches will not be recorded, do
not be refund. Of course, The Champion and

Runner-up players of group A MUST stay in level A.
4.3： After the games, each team please send one player as
the line judge for next game and in the same court.
4.4： Please report to the call room by official schedule,
players will be disqualified in this game if no show or
miss twice playing list check from staff.
4.5： In case of changing players, please submit an application
by e-mailing [email protected] before 17:00 p.m. of
September 12th, 2014 , overdue will not be accepted.
4.6：The Round 32/16 draw position of runners-up in every
group will be re-drawing after the preliminaries. Players
must participate for drawing, in case of absent, draw will
be conducted by the Committee, and no appeal will be
accepted.
4.7：The scores will not be calculated if players withdraw
matches before the match or in halfway of the match.
5.Protestation
5.1：Based on the Rules and Regulations, players must report
to the head judge or head of competition by protestation
sheet within 30 minutes after end of the game.
( Please refer to Attachment 3)
5.2： Exceeding the specified time will not be accepted.
Any claim subject to the payment of a deposit of
NTD 2,000, if the protestation stands, then the money
will be returned ;if not, the deposit will be confiscated
and included in the income of the organizers.
6.Judgement
6.1：In rules and regulations, the judgment from judge will
stand.
6.2：Not included rules and regulations, the judgment will be
made by head judge and the Competition, the judgment
will stand, no appeal will be accepted.
7.Award

●Victory Ceremony will be held at Happiness Party.
7.1：Top 3 teams in each group will be awarded in medal
and gift.
7.2：Semifinalist and quarterfinalist will be awarded in gifts.
8.Withdraw and Disqualified
8.1：Physician-diagnosed by the doctors in Committee, or
players has been told from the doctor is not suitable
before the competition, any unreliable behaviors will not
be taken. Any derivative medical or injury problems, the
Committee assumes no responsibility.
8.2 ： Players of any major unsportsmanlike behavior and
speech or any impact on the events of the competition.
9. If the requirements of other are not listed, in accordance
with the decisions of the Committee.
VII. Process in the Call Room
Information board will be placed at call room, the number on
the board means players of the number of the game should
report to the call room, players must remember the number of
your games, to avoid being disqualified.
●If “20” is shown on the board, means number of 1 to 20 game
players should report to the call room；after that , if “35” is
shown on board, means number of 21 to 35 game players
should report to the call room.
