WSI APPROVES PMH POLLYANNA AS A
PREMIUM MARE
WSI has inspected and approved as a Premium Mare the
2009 NRPS mare PMH Pollyanna (birth name Emarinka)
as a young mare with potential to become a successful
international showjumper that will be the dam of
international showjumpers. This liver chestnut is owned by
Susan Keaveney. She was bred by N. Draber in Baarlo,
the Netherlands. PMH Pollyanna was sired by Marius
Claudius and is out of the mare Isis (Royal Bravour x
Pericles xx x Farn). This mare descends from the
Freiminka stamm (Mareline 38 / Breeding Family 715),
which has produced many international showjumpers
including Zernike, Warrant, Iowa (approved stallion),
Limminka, Tissem, Oxford, Atlantis W Z, S. Velusinka,
Kyminka, Wieminka, Gabinus, Vimminka, and Urquelle.
Among the scores PMH Pollyanna received in the
inspection were 8 for type, canter, and jumping technique;
9 for jumping scope; and 10 for athleticism and jumping
reflexes.
WSI APPROVES EVITA
WSI has inspected and approved (subject to DNA
verification of parentage) the 2009 KWPN mare Evita as a
young mare with potential to become a successful
international showjumper that will be the dam of
international showjumpers. This bay is owned by the
international showjumping rider Gerard Clarke Jnr. She
was bred by A. de Gorter in Zuidwolde DR, the
Netherlands. Evita was sired by Zazou R and is out of the
mare Venus (Mermus R x Derrick x Orthos). This mare
descends from WSI Damline 9 (Breeding Family 24 /
Mareline 93 / Yranta stamm). This damline has produced
many international showjumpers including Kalusha,
Parodie, Unlimited Lady, Playboy, Sultan V, Oranta,
Warrant (approved stallion), Urban, Benji, Uvantos H van
de Renvillehoeve, Vavantos van de Renvillehoeve,
Wavantos van de Renvillehoeve, Avantos, Tavanta,
Javantus, Renville, Alarm, Bellerose van het Renhof, and
Ringfort Cruise.
Among the scores Evita received in the inspection were 8
for type, 7 for canter, and 8 for athleticism, jumping
technique, jumping scope, and jumping reflexes.
WSI Approved Stallion Classe VDL (Chin Chin x Acobat II)
sired by Diarado and is out of the mare Amarena (Silvio I x
Grannus x Praefectus xx). This mare descends from the
Andrine stamm, and this damline has produced the
international showjumpers Ginster, Lalique, Agro Star,
Calvorado, Autogramm, Liquido R 2, Ave Maria,
Labuleska, Apropos, Gryffindor, and Dirty Mary.Among the
scores Dieschone received in the inspection were 7 for
type, 8 for canter and jumping reflexes, and 9 for jumping
technique and jumping scope.
WSI APPROVED STALLION GELDED
Chien-Ming Wang m2s (Wang Chung m2s – Vampire
Slayer m2s x Ekstein x Cruising) has been gelded and
therefore is no longer an approved stallion. The owners
decided that his sport career was being compromised by
his hormones, and the best solution was to geld the
seven-year-old.

APPROVES APPLICATION
WSI has inspected and approved the 2010 Oldenburg
International mare Dieschone as a young mare with
potential to become a successful international showjumper
that will be the dam of international showjumpers. This bay
is owned by Olivia Roycroft. She was bred by Gregor
Sieverding in Westerbakum, Germany. Dieschone was
The Executive Committee of the World Breeding Federation
for Sport Horses (WBFSH) has voted to approve the
application for membership submitted in January by the
Warmblood Studbook of Ireland. The final step in the
application process will be a vote of the WBFSH’s General
Assembly at the annual meeting in November.
