Become a Pearson Champion School for Bug Club
Are you interested in applying to becoming a Bug Club Champion School?
Our Champion Schools are trusted Bug Club users who help us to shape the way Bug Club is used and
developed by sharing their experience with other schools using Bug Club or considering Bug Club, hosting
events, participating in research, providing data on the use of Bug Club in their school and giving
feedback on the service.
The benefits of becoming a Bug Club school are:
 Up to 50% discount on annual Bug Club
subscriptions and printed books
 A certificate and logo for your school to make
your achievement public
 Connect with other Bug Club users and share
valuable experience
 A choice of Champion School activities to
participate in throughout the year
 An opportunity to shape the way Bug Club is
used and developed
We understand that every school is different so we offer the opportunity to apply to be a Champion
School for Bug Club at two levels: silver and gold. The criteria, benefits and requirements of each level are
as follows:
SILVER CHAMPION
GOLD CHAMPION
Silver Champions receive a 30% discount on Bug Club
annual subscriptions and printed books.
Gold Champions receive a 50% discount on Bug Club
annual subscriptions and printed books.
Application criteria:
• Must have used Bug Club for at least 1 year
• Must use the digital component of Bug Club
• Need to demonstrate good usage of Bug Club
Application criteria:
• Must have used Bug Club for at least 2 years
• Must use the digital component of Bug Club
• Need to demonstrate excellent usage of Bug Club
Requirements:
• Must host 2 user meetings for Bug Club user
schools per year
• Provide case studies and/or testimonials when
requested by the Bug Club team.
• Offer support and advice to local schools using
or considering purchasing Bug Club
• Lead teacher to sign up to Pearson Teacher

• Commit to one additional activity from the
list below

schools per year
• Provide case studies and/or testimonials when
requested by the Bug Club team.
