Vancouver, B.C. - KNV Chartered Accountants LLP is pleased to announce that Sandy Adachi (Surrey) and Alix Larsen
(Kelowna) have joined the ranks of Partner at the firm. Sandy and Alix have lent their leadership and expertise to
furthering the firms’ commitment for quality client service.
Sandy Adachi, CPA, CA, CBV brings almost 25 years of experience providing timely advise
on personal and corporate income tax to shareholders, individuals and private companies. She
leads the firm’s growing business valuations practice.
Hailing from Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland, Sandy received her B.Comm. from Dalhousie
University, becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia in
1990. She gained membership with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators in
2012, distinguishing herself by obtaining the highest mark in Canada on the Intermediate
Business and Security Valuations course.
Sandy was promoted to Principal at KNV in 2013, and now joins the partnership in 2014.
Known for her conscientious approach and quality client service, Sandy will now further lend
her leadership to build KNV’s tax and valuations portfolio.
Alix Larsen, CPA, CGA has led KNV’s Kelowna office since its opening in 2006. With 20
years of experience providing audit, accounting and taxation services to owner-managed
businesses and shareholders, she also has extensive not-for-profit experience working with
community groups, housing organizations, educational societies and local governments.
A Certified General Accountant since 2006, Alix has consistently strived to provide the best
and most efficient service, seamlessly overseeing client files and reviewing them with her
keen attention to details. Her dedication to clients is evidenced from her strong personal
relationship with each of them over the years.
Alix was promoted to Principal at KNV in 2010 and now joins the rank of Partner. She will
continue to focus on growing the firm’s presence throughout the Okanagan as a full-service
accounting and business advisory firm with strong community outreach.
