The Olson family started in the horse business in 1954 with the purchase of 3 mares, one by Revenue and two by King P234. Our history runs deep, and our focus has always been to breed the best horses possible. For 60 years we have aimed to produce user-friendly ranch horses that are enjoyable to ride, pleasing to the eye, and that have winning abilities. Horses are vital to our operation’s success, and everything is done horseback. From calving until the cattle are loaded on trucks and headed to market, we ride 365 days a year. This teaches each horse cow-sense, endurance, and manners. Please come early and talk to the guys that ride the sale horses every day. We will tell you everything we know about these horses and sell them exactly as represented. We appreciate our many repeat customers and look forward to seeing new faces on August 23rd. We will offer broke, gentle horses in every size and color that will fit every level of rider. 95% of the riding horses are 5 years old or older, assuring calm, dependable, durable, gentle geldings. This year, we have a handful of additional guest consignors and their quality is best yet. Nearly all of these horses are used in their operations each day, as well.
