CDL Training
The objective of this course is to provide drivers’ licensing testing
information and training for unskilled drivers who wish to have
a commercial drivers’ license (CDL) and endorsements. This
course will also provide information on federal requirements for
the state’s standards for the licensing of commercial drivers.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to, the following:
PART ONE
Section 1: Introduction
Section 2: Driving Safety
Section 3: Transporting Cargo Safely
PART TWO
Section 5: Air Brakes
Section 6: Combination Vehicles
Section 7: Doubles and Triples
Section 8: Tank Vehicles
Section 9: Hazardous Materials
PART THREE
Section 10: Pre-trip Vehicle Inspection Test
Section 11: Basic Control Skills
Section 12: On-road Driving Test
