Biography – Dr Pierre Campbell BSc (Med. Sci.) MB ChB, MBA, DIC, MRCS Pierre is a registered and licensed medical practitioner based in London, UK. After completing his Bachelor in Medical Science at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, he proceeded to graduate with medical degree at the University of Manchester, England. Pierre has worked in specialties allied to surgery in both the North West of England and in Sydney, Australia. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2005. In 2007, he took up a post working at the world’s first medical defence organisation, The Medical Defence Union. Initially working as a claims hander, Pierre provided medico-legal advice and assistance to members involved in clinical negligence claims. His experience in dealing with a large and varied portfolio of cases across a number of different jurisdictions has allowed him to move to his current role as Head of Underwriting within the organisation. In his spare time, Pierre enjoys going to the gym and spending time with family and friends. He has recently completed a Masters in Business Administration degree at Imperial College, London.
