One individual who outperforms all candidates in the mock exam (at least 70%) gets 50% of
the course fee waived!

Format:
CMA exams are offered three times a year in Jan/Feb, May/June and Sep/October.
Duration:
The exam is 4 hours long. 3 hours for the multiple choice questions, and 1 hour for the essay
questions (The essays will be presented after you have completed the multiple choice section).

Results:
CMA will email the results to you six weeks from the end of the month in which you’ve
taken your test.

Each part has 100 multiple choice questions and two 30-minute essay questions.

In order to be eligible to become a CMA member you should:
Register with the IMA
Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Have two continuous years of professional experience in management accounting or financial management
Complete Part 1 and Part 2 of the CMA exam.

Binod Shankar, FCA, CFA
Binod has spent 18 years in
corporate life. He started his
career in a bank where he cut
his teeth on project appraisal of
small and medium enterprises.
He then worked for some of
the top names in audit and
consulting (KPMG, Arthur
Andersen and Ernst & Young) where he supervised
audit, financial due diligence, financial feasibility and
valuation assignments across a range of industries. He
then joined a major property developer as ManagerFinancial Analysis where he helped set up the budgetary,
pricing, financialfeasibility systems and also the financial
Management Information System.
Yasir Ali is a finance professional
with over 14 years of experience,
including 10 years of teaching
experience.
He has worked across multiple
industries, advising the
implementation of Foreign Investment Appraisal, Risk
Management, preparing financial models, etc.
Yasir has been teaching ACCA, CFA , CIMA and FRM
courses since 2001. He brings to the class a mix of
valuable, regional financial expertise backed by excellent
professional qualifications.
Binod has been teaching advanced finance and
accounting courses since 1996. He brings a blend of
relevant practical experience and strong conceptual
knowledge to the classroom. Binod is a Chartered
Accountant and a CFA charter holder.
