For immediate release CMA Board of Directors announces CEO of newest subsidiary Dr. Brian Brodie, Chair of the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) Board of Directors, is pleased to announce Lindee E. David as Chief Executive Officer of CMA’s newest subsidiary, 8872147 Canada Inc. (NewCo). “With extensive experience in the for not-for-profit sectors and with a proven track record of achieving business results in an ever-evolving health care market, all of us at the CMA look forward to welcoming Ms. David,” says Dr. Brodie. “These are exciting times and we are confident that under Ms. David’s leadership, our newest subsidiary will offer our members new benefits and greater value.” In her role as CEO, Ms. David will work closely with Mr. Tim Smith, CEO of CMA and Mr. Brian Peters, CEO of MD Financial Management. One of the key functions of NewCo is new product development in support of our physician members. At the same time, the CMA announces the following appointments to the NewCo Board of Directors: Ms. Debbie Fischer (Chair), Dr. Ewan Affleck, Mr. Michael Cloutier, Ms. Ann Michael, Mr. George Davie, Ms. Amanda Whitewood and Dr. Darren Larsen.
