TROPHY STRUCTURE
CHAMPIONSHIP AREAS
Rok Cup competitions will be organized according to a geographical division of the Italian
territory with a schedule of 10 competitions in the North Area; 10 competitions in the
Middle Area; 10 competitions in the South Area.
Each area will have its own area ranking; to the area ranking, the 7 final best results (sum of
the scores gained in the prefinal, final and qualifying heats/pole position of the same race) of
any driver will be taken into consideration.
In case one race has to be considered as valid for two (or more) different area rankings,
drivers attending the race have to declare, once performing their sporting checks, which is
the area they want to register to and gain scores for.
Drivers registered to different area will then attend the race altogether, however they will be
assigned scores according to the separate areas. By this rule, two (or more) different
rankings will be drawn up (just for the assignment of the area scores), taking into
consideration the belonging area of any single driver.
According to the order of arrival in the official rankings of the prefinal and the final the
following scores are assigned to the drivers entering the rankings:

The driver gaining the pole position will receive 3 points.
In case the number of drivers taking part in the event exceeds the number of drivers allowed
to go to the track, they will proceed with the batteries. Points normally gained in the
“prefinal” will be given to the first ten drivers starting from the first ten positions of the
starting grid.
In case the final will not be run, points normally assigned for the “prefinal” will be awarded
to the first ten drivers of the qualifying. The scores normally gained by the first 15 classified
drivers of the final will be awarded to the first 15 classified drivers of the prefinal.
In case, due to circumstances beyond our control, one or more area competitions are
cancelled and there is no other chance to do the race in other dates/tracks, at the end, the 6
total best results of the area classification will be taken into consideration (instead of 7).
The total score (sum of the prefinal, final and qualifying heats/pole position scores) gained
by each driver* in each race will be included in the area ranking which the race belongs to.
If the driver takes part in races belonging to different areas, his name will be included in the
rankings of the areas concerned.
*Drivers owning a license issued by a different ASN than the Italian one, won’t be assigned valid scores nor
for the area ranking neither for the Final ranking of the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK. However, according
to the following provisions scores will be assigned to the next driver available, with the exception of owners of
the International Licenses issued by different ASN than the Italian one but which an agreement has been signed
with. ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK drivers will be assigned valid scores only if they have run 4 (four) area
competitions at least, two of them belonging to the same area, before the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK.
7.3
The tenth race of any area will be the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK.
Each driver is requested to specify the area he wishes to race in while making his
registration. In order to take part in this event and collect valid scores, drivers attending a
specific area must have attended* before the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK four area
competitions at least, two of which in the area specified in his entry form. In case one driver
has not attended* four competitions before the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK, two of
which in the area he registered for, he will be considered as “transparent” for the final
ranking of the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK and neither he will be awarded not he will
gain valid scores. (He won’t gain any title, won’t receive any prize, honour prize or any
other sort of).
*to attend means that the name of the driver must be listed in the area rankings.
The ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK is effective to be the tenth race of each area. In order
to assign scores for making any area ranking, scores gained by any driver (in the area he
belongs to) in the prefinal, final, qualifying heats (pole position) of the ROK CUP ITALY
SUPER ROK will double and be added to the scores gained by the driver until then in the
area he has registered for.
In order to assign the scores, the ranking of drivers belonging to the same area, (considering
the prefinal, final and qualifying heats/pole position; no score will be assigned for the
qualifying heats) of the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK will be taken into consideration.
So, if a driver is fifth in the final of the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK but he is first
position in the area he has registered for, he will be assigned 25 scores x2 for the area
ranking, with a total score of 50 scores for the final… and so on.
7.4
The first three classified drivers of each area will receive their prize on the occasion of the
last race of the area, i.e. the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK. Prizes are the following:
1st classified: trophy and participation at the Rok Cup International Final 2014 as qualified
driver in the Super Rok class.
2nd classified: trophy
3rd classified : trophy
7.5
7.6
7.7
If a driver is the winner of 2 or more areas, or of an area ranking and a special one (Elite 30,
Lady) he will be considered the winner of the ranking in which he has the best score. For the
ranking in which he has the lower score he will receive a substitutive prize with the same
value of the original prize. In case of ex-equo between two or more drivers within the same
ranking, the winner will be the driver who has gained more victories during the trophy.
If still one more ex-equo occurs, the winner will be the driver who obtained the best
rankings during the season.
ADDITIONAL POINTS (PUNTI GETTONE)
The driver will receive 10 additional scores for each race he will attend. These scores are to
be added to the ones gained in each race. If the driver doesn’t gain any points in the race he
will receive these 10 points anyway. Of course these additional scores will be summed to the
scores of the area he raced for. In order to receive them, it is not enough for driver to attend
the race, actually he is requested to do the qualifying heats at least and therefore his name
must be in the rankings of the qualifying heats.
The 10 additional scores (20 for the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK) gained on the
occasion of each race attended cannot be deleted. So, for the area ranking, the 7 best results
belonging to the driver will be taken into consideration together with all the additional
scores (it means for 10 races is 110 additional scores: 10 for each race and 20 for ROK CUP
ITALY SUPER ROK).
ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK
The ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK will be one single event scheduled to be as the last one
of all area’s competitions. At the end of the final ranking of the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER
ROK, only drivers who attended* 4 competitions at least in their area (preceding the ROK
CUP ITALY SUPER ROK, in other words ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK not included,
and with 2 or more competitions attended in the same area (Please refer to Art. 7.3) will be
taken into consideration and finally between them the winner will be entitled as the “Winner
of the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK”.
Those drivers which were not attending at least 4 races of their area (before the ROK CUP
ITALY SUPER ROK, not including the ROK CUP ITALY SUPER ROK, with two or more
of them in the same area (Please refer to Art. 7.3) will be able to take part in the ROK CUP
ITALY SUPER ROK but they won’t be included in the final ranking and they won’t be
awarded. (They will be considered as “transparent” in the final ranking).
