you will have the opportunity of some bird watching) to the viewing
point where we will stop for coffee and to observe the activity at the
docks before returning to the Manor Terrace car park. We will then
have a short drive to The Fish Dish (formerly Millars restaurant) for a
fish and chips lunch (other options are available). You are welcome to
join us for the whole event or just come for either the ramble or the
lunch. If you are interested please speak to Nigel & Beth Long or Andy &
Janet Smith.

CYM
has
been
chosen
as
one
of
the
nominated charities for Waitrose at Futura Park,
Ipswich during May. So if you shop there during May please
consider dropping your token in the CYM box! Thank you.
Please
remember
the
‘suffering
church’
in
Central African Republic (CAR).
Although the majority of the population is Christian the
Seleka militants continue to wreck havoc across the country
causing more than 40,000 people to be displaced.
The situation has been worsened by militants from
neighbouring countries joining with the rebels.
Please pray that order will be restored so that people can
return to their homes and for churches seeking to support the
bereaved and injured and those fleeing to them for refuge.

As African Adventure takes a break during May, our
attentions turn to May Sizewell, our last residential
weekend of the school year. During the last couple of
months we've had consistent numbers at Pause, our
newest monthly event for 11-14s and in this last week we have
launched a Christian Collective in St Alban's school.
Please pray for:
 Effective use of time and energy for Cat and the team as they
prepare for 46 children attending the weekend. Pray too for Cat as
she leads the weekend. Pray for God's strength and confidence.
 Ant and the youth work team as they continue to plan and prepare
for the next Pause on 24th May.
 Joel and Robbie as they lead the Christian Collective in St.
Alban’s. Pray especially during this last term for energy and
wisdom as they balance a hectic final couple of months at African
Adventure with their work in schools and also as they make big
decisions about their futures in the next couple of weeks.
 Pray for Becca and Lucy as they use this month to re-energise and
contact possible future schools to visit African Adventure.
Thank you for your ongoing prayer and financial support of CYM.
