Jim Taylor, President of Auto Data Direct, Inc. has a passion for public/private business ventures that bring a common-sense, small-business approach to complex bureaucratic processes. In 1999 Auto Data Direct (ADD), pioneered the business use of internet-based access to driver license and automobile data maintained in government databases. ADD then created customized back-end business tools to help customers use real-time state data to complete day-to-day business processes, such as completing title documents, sending certified letters, and transferring auto tags and issuing temporary license plates. Currently, ADD is providing qualified businesses access to real-time data in 30 jurisdictions, as well as offering federal salvage vehicle reporting and vehicle history reports from the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS). The Tools for Title Research session will provide an overview of ADD’s research capabilities to facilitate titling operations. 10:15 – 11:00 am DDI Update on National and State Title and Registration Initiatives (Regency Ballroom ABC) Speakers: Ann Gunning, Chief Information Officer, DDI Jimmy Earley, Chief Operating Officer, DDI Ann Gunning is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Decision Dynamics, Inc. (DDI). Since joining DDI in 2005, Ms. Gunning has been influential in the development of DDI’s information technology operations center, the establishment of the SC ELT program, and the development of the Premier eTitleLien™ product. Ms. Gunning currently serves as the ELT Subcommittee chair with the American Financial Services Association, a division of the National Title Solutions Forum (NTSF). Jimmy Earley is the Chief Operating Officer at Decision Dynamics, Inc. where he is responsible for managing overall company operations, including the company’s Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resource functions. Prior to joining Decision Dynamics in January of 2014, Jimmy served as the Director of the Division of State Information Technology (State CIO) with the South Carolina Budget and Control Board. Jimmy has also served as the Chief of Staff at the SC Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) where he managed the agency’s Information Technology, Policy, Communications, Project Management and Customer Service Divisions. This session will consist of state-by-state updates on the statuses of electronic titling initiatives within those states and will highlight items of note to lenders. (DDI). After 30 years in the teaching profession, Ms. Rucker took over the direction of the Premier Title and Registration Center in 2012. Since then the Title Center has grown significantly in services provided as well as customers served, from one customer in 2012 to thirty-seven currently, and continues to expand. Jason Pfaehler serves as the Quality Assurance and Training Manager at Decision Dynamics, Inc. (DDI). He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2014 and has extensive working experience in customer service. Since joining the DDI team in 2012, Mr. Pfaehler has played an active role in DDI’s Customer Support and Training Departments, and is well acquainted with how to leverage the capabilities of Premier eTitleLien® to meet customer needs. The DDI Titling and Registration Features, Services, and Initiatives session will discuss the Premier Title and Registration Center and the advantages of and options available with this product. Users will also learn how to make Premier eTitleLien’s® advanced features work for them.
