DBVBC is a non-profit 501c(3) organization under the AAU group exemption #1155 dedicated to providing girls from elementary to high school an opportunity to develop skills in the sport of volleyball. We are in our 16th season of operation and currently have 70 members participating on 6 teams ranging from 12-16 years of age. Diamondback is a long standing and well known club that has sent over 50 players to Division 1, 2, and 3 Universities, as well as junior colleges and NAIA schools, on full or partial athletic scholarships. All Diamondback teams have 10-12 players who will be competing in regional and national tournaments from January to late April in an effort to develop skills, train their bodies, and learn high level volleyball techniques that will prepare them to not only win now but be able to represent their high school teams from Las Cruces in our State Volleyball Championships held every November in Albuquerque. One of the main goals of DBVBC is to send our club players back to their high schools playing solid volleyball so they can contribute to their high school teams success the following season. Sadly, because of the travel demands and the rising cost of tournament participation it is very difficult for everyone to afford the expense involved in club volleyball and that's where our boosters and fundraisers come in. As a business or just an avid volleyball supporter, you can purchase web sponsorship space to be included on our website over the next year or your banner can be prominently displayed during all seven of the I-10 Tournaments held at the NMSU Activity Center during 2014. More importantly, your sponsorship will give a student-athlete in the Diamondback Volleyball Club, the opportunity to travel and participate without the tremendous financial burden.
