Course 1: 'Hands - on' MSK US workshop - 25th April 2014
The course provides an introduction to hands-on focused MSK ultrasound training including U/S
guided diagnostic and therapeutic intervention. The course will be customized to meet delegates'
experience level and clinical needs. Registration limited to 30 candidates only.
Full day event:
1st Half - Upper Limb
2nd Half - Lower Limb, Introduction to Diagnostic and Therapeutic Ultrasound
Guided Interventions
30 participants will be divided into small groups. These groups will rotate from station to station.
At each station, there will be:
Live Demonstrations of Anatomy, Approach and Technique of Ultrasound scanning
“Hands-On” supervised practice
“Tips and Tricks” on how to obtain the best images of difficult and elusive structures
Pathology will be demonstrated through Slide Shows, Lectures and Live Cases.
Course 2: Two days MSK Imaging course - 26th & 27th April 2014
The course would comprehensively cover
v USG and MRI anatomy with live demonstrations including Ultrasound techniques
v Imaging of MSK pathology with emphasis on MR imaging, including case based teaching
v An approach to imaging including use of MR arthrography
Regions/ Topics: Upper limb - Shoulder, elbow, hand & wrist; Lower Limb - Knee, Ankle, Foot:
Pelvis including groin; Soft Tissue and Bone lesions; Trauma; Sport Imaging; Infections;
Arthritis.
Registration limited to 100 candidates only.
