Student Board Of Directors Program Overview The Delaware County Bank will be once again selecting a Student Board of Directors for the 2014-2015 school year. This year will mark the 27th anniversary for the Student Board of Directors. The Mission of the Student Board is to develop communications with the leaders of the future, foster a stronger understanding of the finance and economic issues affecting the community and nation, and to provide an opportunity for the students to gain exposure to a corporate board environment. The Board meets on a monthly schedule during the school year. The Board is open to all high school juniors residing in Delaware or Union counties that maintain a 3.0 GPA. Students are asked to submit an application along with a 250 word essay titled “Why I am interested in serving on the Student Board of Directors?” Deadline for applications is Friday, October 31, 2014.
