Important Announcement – AVRR Pilot Programme
This is to inform you that the Assisted Voluntary Return & Reintegration (AVRR) pilot
programme will be coming to an end on Tuesday, the 31st of March, 2015.
Failed Refugee Claimants are still eligible to apply for the programme, and depending if they
are from a designated country of origin (DCO) or a non-designated country of origin (nonDCO) the following important dates shall apply:
1. Failed refugee claimants from non-Designated Countries of Origin (DCO) have until Friday,
December 19, 2014 to apply for AVRR.
2. Failed refugee claimants from a DCO* have until Friday, February 13, 2015 to apply for
AVRR.
Applications can be made through the CBSA’s Greater Toronto Enforcement Centre office at
6900 Airport Road, Mississauga, Ontario; telephone number (905) 405-3500.
