Parking in Prague 3
In the central part of Prague 3 are parking zones. Blue zones are intended only for
residents and there can only park with a parking card. Is it possible to stop here and
unload luggage, ten to fifteen minutes standing usually does not pose any risk.
There are some possiblities to park here:
• use the parking zones for visitors
• use the parking place Italska street
• move the car to the place where aren't any parking zones
• use the underground garage
Parking zones for visitors
For visitors there are orange and green zones that are designated for visitors.
This zones can be used between the hours of 18:00 pm to 8:00 am during the weekend
without charge.
Parking free of charge
Parking available free of charge is not still in the upper part of the district Prague 3, ie from
the street Želivského above or in any other district of Karlin Prague (Praha 8), which is far
from our house about 1km (1000m)
Parking place Italska street
Guarded car park near our house is in a remote Italian street about 600m.
The car park is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 6:00 p.m.. At this time, there is a staff
which ensures oversight. All day parking in this area is 160 CZK per day.
At a time when there is not operation, it is possible to find a free parking.

Blue Zone

to 0:00 pm and 0:00 to 6:00 pm

Orange zone
Short-term visitor parking for a maximum of 2 hours
This parking paid parking zone is open Monday - Friday in the hours 08:00 - 18:00
and at the time of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm is freely available without charge to all vehicles.
Parking on weekends is charged only in a few places and only Saturday 8:00 to 12:00
(operating time adjusts the supplementary table). Otherwise, the weekends are free.
Green Zone
medium-term visitor parking for a maximum of 6 hours
This parking paid parking zone is open Monday - Friday in the hours 08:00 - 18:00 and at
the time of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm and weekends throughout is freely available without
charge to all vehicles (operating time regulates the supplementary table).
On public holidays and days of rest is orange and green zone freely available without
charge to all vehicles. (This additional information is listed on the ticket machines).
