Beginning May 21, 2014 interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers MUST have their medical examination performed by a certified medical examiner listed on the National Registry of Certified medical Examiners found on the National Registry. A list of certified medical examiners may be found on the National Registry Website http://nationalregistry.fmcsa.dot.g ov. Any driver with a Class A, B, or Commercial C License is required to give their medical card to the DMV. Drivers must contact their state where they currently hold a CDL and obtain a self-certification affidavit. Depending on the state, the affidavits must filled out online or printed and sent in. Along with the affidavit, all drivers must send a current medical card to their state via fax or email. New Driver Support Center Construction on a new driver support center will begin across the street from the Toledo Operations Center at 6058 Jason St. in the next couple of weeks!
