This trial is open to all Retrievers and Irish Water Spaniels under the Field Trial Rules and Regulations of the Canadian Kennel

Entry Forms must be completed in full and accompanied by ENTRY & LISTING FEES. A CKC listing fee of $9.41
including tax) is payable for each entry of a dog for which a CKC or Event Registration number is not shown on the entry
form. A CKC Registration number or ERN must be applied for within 30 days of the trial or all awards will be canceled.

There will be an unofficial Puppy Stake held Sunday at 10:00 A.M. provided there are 5
entries or more. Interested participants are asked to contact trial secretary at headquarters.
There will be Tailgate Dinner on Saturday night, April 26th following the
trial in at the Westholme School on Mount Sicker Road (five minutes from
the trial grounds). Presentation of placings and ribbons will be given out at
the dinner.

There will not be a lunch wagon on the grounds.
All participants must be familiar with Chapter 21, Section 7 of the Field Trial Rules and Regulations. In summary, it provides
that any Person participating in a Trial shall not be subjected to an indignity of any kind. Violations of this rule shall be dealt
with in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Canadian Kennel Club.
RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION OF LANDOWNERS:
By entering this Trial each participant agrees to assume all risks and hazards incidental to participation in the Trial and agrees to release and save harmless and
indemnify the owner(s) of any property upon which the Trial is held together with their officers, agents, employees and representatives from all claims, actions,
costs, expenses and demands in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to the person or property of the participant howsoever caused, arising out of or in
connection with the participants use or entry upon the property. It is understood that this agreement is binding upon the participants, his or her heirs, executors
and assigns.
Notes:
Bitches in season may not compete and must be withdrawn.
REFUNDS: Full refunds will be given for any dog withdrawn because of estrus, injury, illness or death. Other refunds (less a
scratch fee of $10.00 per dog) may be given for good cause at the discretion of the field trial committee. All requests for
refunds must be in writing and must be received within 2 days of the last day of the trial and, unless otherwise agreed by the
field trial committee, must be accompanied by a Veterinarian’s certificate.
Males and Females will be run in the order of the draw. Any dog not appearing within 15 minutes of its time to run may be
disqualified. THERE WILL BE A ROTATION IN THE RUNNING ORDER IN THE OPEN STAKES. Starting
number will be based on the two digits right of the decimal on the prior Thursday TSX closing.
Ducks will be used in all stakes.
Standard CKC rosettes will be awarded.

THE TRIAL AND BY LEAVING THE AREA CLEAN.
