Flood studies: frequency analysis (incl. use of historical and regional data), trend studies.
Large scale hydrology: spatial and temporal variability of hydrological parameters at regional and
continental scales.
Hydroclimatological processes, in particular understanding the linkages between atmospheric circulation,
regional climate and river flow.
