Devt.--Global Resources Dept. moved to Davis Research & Instructional Services. 2 Decrease in 2012-2013 due in part to temporary closure of Chapel Hill public library for renovations during spring 2013. 3 In 2012/2013, the Instructional Services Department was renamed User Experience. Increase due in part to reorganization of staff. 4 Instruction for Manuscripts, N.C. Collection, and Rare Book Collection superseded by Wilson Research & Instructional Services. 5 Decreases due in part to redesign and reconfiguration of some required classes. 6 Bio/Chem, Brauer Math/Physics, and Geological Sciences merged to form Kenan Science Library in 2010/11. 7 2012/2013 Law decrease due to changes to the first-year required writing class. 8 2010/2011 HSL decrease reflects conversion of two large classes to asynchronous online instruction. * 2009/10 excludes approximately 12,000 participants in the North Carolina Literary Festival sponsored by the Library.
