The leading 3 players will go forward to the England Golf Gold Medal
at Woodhall Spa on 16th & 17th August
Summary of Regulations
1
Eligibility
Clubs wishing to participate must be affiliated to the England Golf. Competitors may only
play for their designated Home Club for handicapping purposes.
A Club will be required to nominate a ‘Qualifying Competition’ Medal event as the qualifying
round for the England Golf Gold Medal Tournament.

The chosen event shall be played no later than Sunday June 29
The nominated ‘Qualifying Competition’ shall be played over the Club’s normal competition
course. ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE ACTIVE HANDICAPS.

Qualifications
The player returning the lowest nett score in relation to the competition Scratch Score
irrespective of handicap, shall be declared the winner of the Club’s qualifying round and
shall be awarded an England Golf Gold medal (to be sent to the Club at a later date).

Conditions of Play
In the event of a tie the Club’s normal policy for deciding ties shall prevail.

Qualifier
18 holes singles stableford off full handicap to find the 3 qualifiers for the National Finals at
Woodhall Spa as a guest of England Golf.
