There should be core competency improvement program for CIO. • Main government services should be online. • Should increase broadband internet coverage to improve accessibility of e-Government • EGA should also research and develop e-Government Policy in order to develop e-Government in the right direction. 12 Recommendations from the audiences • • • • • Government Policy and Vision: Promote Enterprise Architecture (EA) to enhance business-IT alignment and to support the management in organisation, including to deploy the Cost-Benefit analysis in IT project Government Infrastructure/Network: Improve the backup IT system of an organization to increase availability and IT security. Government Public Service: Promote the improvement of e-service which align with the core mission of organization and citizen’s benefit. Back Office/e-Governance: Improve interoperability by to increase the use of shared data and to decrease the complicated process. Trends/Emerging Issue: Improve readiness in the emerging issues esp. Open government, Big data, Smart card and Business continuity planning (BCP) that will be affected to the organization directly. 13 Summary Concept of Thailand e-Government readiness framework is established in the 3rd Thailand Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Master Plan (20142018).
