Haitian Community Radio Sponsorship Opportunity
The Elise Joseph Foundation seeks to promote understanding, foster better communication, and help Haitian
families in the Philadelphia area to facilitate access to resources in the American community. The Haitian
Community in the Philadelphia Area is highly dependent on Haitian radio for their news and community
announcements. This immigrant community is often thought to be unreachable, when in reality they are
dedicated listeners who rely heavily on radio for information and news. Radio Haiti of Philadelphia, is a 24/7
sub-carrier radio on 90.1 FM (SCA). Haitian families listen to Radio Haiti via three ways: (1) utilizing their
purchased radio sets, (2) by calling 712-432-2328 or, (3) online via the internet at
www.radiohaitiphiladelphia.com. Radio Haiti is the oldest Haitian media outlet serving this growing immigrant
population and has a listenership that reaches over 75,000 with coverage that includes the tri-state area of
Philadelphia and surrounding counties, Southern New Jersey up to Trenton area, and Northern Delaware.
The Elise Joseph Foundation promotes cross-culturalism through the Ressource Communautaire (Community
Resources) Radio Program airs Mondays at 7pm. Through the program, we inform and educate the Haitian
community by inviting service providers from organizations and businesses to inform them about various
resources in the Philadelphia area. We desire to partner with you to raise awareness about your services. Your
financial support through the sponsorship of our radio program will enable us to continue to provide much
needed services to Haitian families locally and support those in Haiti by selecting one of the following options
below:
LA CITADELLE GOLD LEVEL: $ 2,500.00
The Citadelle Laferrière is a large mountaintop fortress located in northern Haiti. It is the largest fortress in the Western
Hemisphere and was designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1982; it is also the 8th man made wonder.

directly to Haitian families and participation in one of our Community Events.
