The Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary School Family is pleased to announce that the
Fourth Annual Father Peter M. Rinaldi Awards Dinner will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2014
at our beautiful school. Our theme this year is a glamorous “Evening Under the Stars.”
The event will celebrate the life and legacy of Father Peter Rinaldi, SDB, founder of
our school and former Pastor of Corpus Christi Parish, whose commitment to his faith and the
Salesian approach to eduœcation continues to inspire generations of people today.
The Father Peter M. Rinaldi Award is presented to those who exemplify Father Peter’s
generous spirit through their gifts of time, talent and contributions to the Salesian family’s
mission to youth. Our seven honorees for this special evening have all served our school as
teachers, administrators, and staff for 25 years or more. We are proud to salute their loyalty and
love for our school and its students, and their selfless gifts of time, talent, and treasure to further
our mission to young people in this community:

details. All proceeds from the evening will benefit Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary School programs,
tuition aid, and operational funds.

Our Honorees
Nancy Belfiore has served Corpus Christi School and the Parish for the past 47 years, starting as the school
secretary in 1967. In 1979 she moved to the Parish at Fr. Peter Rinaldi’s request, where she has continued to
work very closely with the school. Nancy is the parent of two CCS graduates.
Dennis Bochichio has been very active with both the School and Parish for the past 49 years, since graduating from Corpus Christi School in 1965. Dennis is the Director of Maintenance for both plants. He was a
great friend of Fr. Rinaldi, as well as a special friend of the school and a very talented and devoted volunteer.
Marianne Cicchiello graduated from Holy Rosary School in 1964, where she began her teaching career. She
has been providing the young at CCS and Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary School with a top-notch education for
the past 30 years. She is a long-time parishioner and parent of three graduates of Corpus Christi School.
Deirdre McDermott has been at CCS and Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary School for the past 29 years, serving
as both teacher and Assistant Principal. Deirdre has given selflessly of her own time as a tutor, at school functions and to address its needs. She is the proud parent of four CCS graduates, and her grandson is a current
student.
Dayse Menick began educating the youngest students at Holy Rosary School before coming to Corpus
Christi-Holy Rosary School in 2008. She continues her vocation here, which spans 30 years. Dayse is a long
time Parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish; her son and daughter are CCS graduates.
Arlene Tavolacci has spent the last 26 years educating young people in a Catholic school setting, during
which time she has served at both Holy Rosary School and Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary School. She enthusiastically fulfills St. John Bosco’s mission to educate the young in a Salesian fashion.
Kathy Zaccagnino has dedicated 27 years to CCS and Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary School as an inspiring
teacher and gifted volunteer. Her invaluable work on many religious and entertainment productions have
enriched the lives of the students. She is the proud parent of two CCS graduates.
