We are aware of our responsibility for a sustainable forest management and put this responsibility into action. We seek to secure a sustainable resource base. We support the industry‘s and retailer‘s targets of sustainability, thereby securing our retail. Our Targets? Voluntary industrial self-commitment (2007): our goal until 2018: a suitable traceability system ensures that no wood from illegal felling nor from unaccetable sources is being used in the production of beverage cartons around the globe FSC-chain of product-certification Why FSC and not PEFC? Worldwide, FSC is the most ambitious standard „PEFC is not a high-quality ecological standard“ (The German Advisory Council on the Environment in ist Environmental Report 2012) „Only FSC promotes ecological sustainability“ (Federal Agency for Natur Conservation) FSC involves all relevant stakeholders in the development of national standards. FSC is supported by all well-known and accepted environmental associations/NGOs worldwide. How many beverage cartons are labelled with FSC in Germany ? What we do expect from politics and retailers?
