As a Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centre for the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA),
BHIS delivers Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) courses and competencies contained within the
Tourism and Food and Beverage Sectors that are valued, useful and provide potential pathways to internationally
recognised qualifications.
Course Funding Assistance
Work-based funding (WDA and WTS, at up to 95%) is available to all workers, including the unemployed and

CET Qualification Award (CQA)
• Singaporeans who successfully attain a full WSQ Diploma for the first time after 1 March 2011 will be eligible for a CQA of S$1,000 in cash.
• Singaporeans who successfully attain a full WSQ Certificate for the first time after 1 March 2011 will be eligible for a CQA of S$400 in cash.
