The A400M can deliver a typical payload of 25 tonnes (55 100 lb) over a range of 2450 nm (4500 km) into a 2500 ft (750 m) grass/sand soft airstrip (CBR-6), with enough fuel on board for a 500 nm (930 km) return trip. • Fly-By-Wire Control Systems with expanded o flight envelope protection (120 in roll).
