Volleyball (Junior/Senior Boys & Girls)
 All four teams will carry 12 athletes per
team and practice THREE times a week.
 Tryouts will run Sept. 3-12.
 Teams will compete in FIVE tournaments and play 7-8 league games.
 EIPS quarter final playoffs start Nov. 4
and finish Nov. 21.
 Season starts with Senior EIPS tournament Sept. 12-13 and Junior Sept. 19-20.
 FRH Junior tournament Oct. 3-4 and
Senior Tournament Oct. 24-25.
 Anticipated player fee for Junior $290.00
and Senior $305.00.
 If numbers warrant we will run a development team of all grade 7’s.
Basketball (Junior/Senior Boys & Girls)
 All four teams will carry 12 athletes per
team and practice THREE times a week.
 Tryouts will run Nov. 21 through Dec. 5.
 Teams will compete in FIVE tournaments and play 7 league games.
 EIPS quarter final playoffs start March
10 and finish March 19.
 Season starts with the Senior EIPS tournament Dec. 11-13 and Junior Jan. 8-10.
 FRH Junior tournament Jan. 30-31 and
Senior Tournament Feb. 13-14.
 Anticipated player fee for Junior $325.00
and Senior $335.00.
 If numbers warrant we will run a development team of all grade 7’s.
Cross Country (Co-Ed.)
 This is a no cut team.
 Team practices start Sept. 8 and run
THREE times a week.
 EIPS Championship meet Sept. 24.
 Edmonton Zone meet Oct. 2.
 Anticipated player fee is $45.00.

Golf (Junior/Senior)
 Two teams of four will compete.
 EIPS Golf Tournament June 4 @Mundare.
 Anticipated player fee is $60.00.
Student-athletes selected to any FRH team must be
positive representatives and ambassadors of
HAWK athletics.
Well Rounded: Give yourself every opportunity to
succeed by being serious about your education and
athletic opportunities.
Well Grounded: Attend to your studies, homework and review on a daily basis, including class
time missed for team activities.
Well Respected: Treat yourself and others with
dignity and respect. Represent F.R. Haythorne as a
positive ambassador and support our Hawks in a
sportsmanlike manner.
Badminton (Junior/Senior)
 Each team will carry 24 athletes (12 girls/
boys) and practice THREE times a week.
 Tryouts will run March 20-26.
 Teams will compete in THREE tournaments.
 EIPS Championships is April 28.
 FRH Junior tournament April 11 and Senior Tournament April 18.
 Anticipated player fee for both Junior and
Senior $80.00.
Handball (Boys & Girls)
 Each team will carry 12-14 athletes and
practice THREE times a week.
 Tryouts will run March 23-26.
 Teams will compete in ONE tournament
and the Provincial Tournament May 1/2.
 Anticipated player fee is $75.00.
Track & Field (Boys & Girls)
 EIPS Championship meet May 26.
 Edmonton Zone meet June 2.
 Anticipated player fee is $40.00.
