Specification Sheet No. 002 THE D-TECT RANGE Wired Range The wired range of D-TECT’s is GJD’s most commonly used detector for both CCTV and high end lighting control systems. Our flagship BS8418 compliant D-TECT 3 utilises a quad element pyro and a microwave sensor to give unprecedented resistance to false or nuisance alarms, with a maximum detection area of 30m x 30m. We also offer 30m, 40m and long range 50m PIR only versions. All D-TECT X detectors utilise a quad PIR sensor and are BS8418 compliant. GJD has also partnered with other manufacturers to deliver true integration between complimentary equipment & systems. This is part of our on-going product development programme to help simplify installations and save time. There are now 3 wireless systems available: Option 1 Link to GJD’s own wireless receiver (GJD392); which can accept up to 16 x D-TECT X detectors when 4-way expansion cards are used (GJD393). Each receiver panel provides: 2 volt-free relays, RF loss, tamper, low battery & transistor outputs for the GJD lighting control system.
