Karin Christof lives and works as a curator, researcher, lecturer and cultural producer in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Having studied
architecture at the Vienna University of Technology, as well as fine Arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Karin has been
developing, coordinating and directing architectural and art projects, as well as being involved in educational programming: In 2004 she
founded an international project space for art in Amsterdam, Agentur in Transit, as a platform to discuss and show positions within
contemporary art. From 2010 until 2014 she directed Architecture Centre aMb in Houten, focusing on planning issues for cultural
planning and (landscape) architecture in the Netherlands. From October 2014 onwards her research will be directed towards the Citizen
Professional, carried out with the Open University Milton Keynes and the University of Amsterdam.
