GSE 3.0 is an advanced software tool that allows for the detection and configuration of IED devices for an in
accordance with IEC 61850. The powerful configurator works with the Doble F6150 to collect configuration
details from various IEDs.
The Doble IEC61850 GSE Configurator software configures Doble's F6150 power system simulator and allows
testing of protection schemes and intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) that use the IEC 61850 standard for sending
and receiving Generic Substation Event (GSE) messages over an Ethernet substation local area network.

Configurator Capabilities:
•GOOSE/GSSE subscription and publishing services
•Receive reports (Buffered and Unbuffered) from
corresponding report controls in network IEDs
•Control or Modify IED settings such as the fields of
various control blocks like report, sampled value,
Goose, setting group, log and more
•Send control commands (analog and digital controls) to
IEDs and verify the corresponding change in stVal fields
•Setting groups parameterization of IEDs
•Client configuration through external SCD files or
integrated SCL manager functions

files in the integrated SCL manager)
