The Quantum MKIII heavy work-class remotely
operated vehicle is designed and developed to cope
with power-intensive and demanding tasks to a
working depth of 3,000 metres. The vehicle functions
effectively even in harsh weather conditions and
employs the handling system technology widely used
in Hallin’s work-class fleet.
The Quantum MKIII is a 250 horse-power vehicle. Its
propulsion and tooling power is supplied through
separate and isolated hydraulic systems.

The vehicle is equipped with a modern SCADA
(supervisory control and data acquisition) control
platform. This features the latest ROV advancements
including dynamic positioning, advanced diagnostics
and the ability to plug and play common
instrumentation.
The Quantum MKIII represents the most modern
WROV system in Hallin’s fleet. It incorporates the
latest technologies such as two-channel HD video
capabilities plus a dedicated survey junction box for
quick interfacing of sensors.
