Executive Summary
Thank you for your support in ensuring
the success of HIMSS AsiaPac14 – Digital
Healthcare Week!
Over the course of 4 days, HIMSS AsiaPac14 was
honoured to provide 1500 delegates from 30 different
countries with opportunities to share ideas, knowledge
and practices throughout the event.
The education sessions that spanned topics such
as Regional HIT, Nursing Informatics, Physician’s IT
Leadership, Personal Connected Health and Big Data
and Standards were carefully curated with inputs from
an Organising Committee who, as industry leaders,
provided valuable insight on the educational and
professional needs of our delegates.
HIMSS AsiaPac14 also recognised the important work,
and investments, by healthcare organisations across the
region through the HIMSS Analytics Electronic Medical
Records Adoption Model (EMRAM) awards ceremony
and the HIMSS-Elsevier Digital Healthcare Award.
These healthcare organisations serve as a model for
others with their effective implementation and utilization
of health IT systems which have real impact and
outcomes on patient care and efficiencies, improved
staff productivity and returns-on-investment. These
organisations exemplify commitment and dedication to
create a completely digital administrative and clinical
environment.
With the participation of more than 60 sponsors
and exhibitors, there was a diverse range of the
latest innovations on display from solution providers
that showcased new approaches, insights and the
progression of technology in the healthcare industry. We
hope you were able to build relations across industries
and organisations and formed new connections at our
exhibition.
Once again, we thank you and appreciate your
continuous support for HIMSS AsiaPac15, from 7-10
September 2015.

Feedback & Testimonials
The greatest value is that I
am able to exchange ideas
with leaders in the field and
exchange ideas with our
colleagues from other countries.
This helps me understand
more about the evolution and
activities in other countries.
Thank you for the very good and
organized HIMSS AsiaPac14.
The bigger issue is public health
and what technology can do with
the public health system. I think at
the conference here we’ve had a lot
of very good examples of different
innovations. Some very high tech
and some not so high tech but in
more emerging markets it still makes
a difference in patient care and
outcomes.

I think a conference like this is the
perfect setup to get different minds
and ideas to connect, interact
and brainstorm to come up with
incredible solutions to the crisis that
we have. I come here as a speaker to
share my vision and I go home with
a million visions that people have
shared with me. It is an educational
experience no matter what your
role is. It is a phenomenal platform
for that and I applaud HIMSS for
allowing it to happen.
HIMSS AsiaPac is one of the
largest IT events that we are
glad to be part of. This is a
session where we can meet
up with our customers and, at
the same time, meet up with
solutions and industry partners
that we can collaborate with
to bring relevant healthcare
solutions to the industry.
