A. Contractor questions
1. Will the Port Authority consider substitutions?
a. Yes the Port Authority will consider substitutions. The contractors may submit on
the applicable forms in the plans or may submit the proposal in writing prior to bid
for approval.
2. Will PCC pavement be considered as a substitute?
a. The contractor may submit the proposal in writing for approval.
3. The earthwork summary table is somewhat unclear. Will future addenda address and clarify
the earthwork quantities?
a. Yes, a future addendum will address and clarify the earthwork quantities.
4. Is the existing crushed concrete stockpile sufficient to construct the project as bid?
a. Yes, it is anticipated based on in-place stockpiles that the existing stockpiles are
sufficient.
